Some issues concerning the problem of: "Forest and global warming" are considered. Carbon budget of pine ecosystem on stand and Volga-Vyatka region level of RF are evaluated. Mechanism of carbon accumulation by all components of pine wood plantation in the course of its growing are studied for this purpose and the tables of biological productivity for different growth classes are compiled. Major carbon flux between atmosphere and pine ecosystem are defined. Carbon content in pine wood products after intermediate cutting and harvesting for a period over 100 years is analyzed. Criteria for estimation of carbon budget of wood ecosystems are built.
